Proposed Change in the City of Lower Hutt District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 26th day of April 1965, the council has resolved to recommend that the Operative District Scheme be altered in respect of the matter listed in the Schedule hereto. The change of the district scheme, as now recommended by the council, has been deposited in the council offices, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, the War Memorial Library, Lower Hutt, and the branch libraries at Moera and Stokes Valley, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the offices are open to the public.
Objection to the proposed change of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked “Objection to Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than 18 June 1965. An appropriate form for use of objectors is available from the council offices. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
SCHEDULE
CHANGE No. 3—Code Amendment No. 1—Amendment of Ordinance II of the Code of Ordinances by the addition of Clause 7B, making provision for the purpose of regulating development in the Special Industrial A2 Zone.

Industrial Zoning of Part of Former Railway Reserve, Waterloo
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that:

The Minister of Works has certified that the land described in the Schedule hereto and which was designated as railway reserve in the City of Lower Hutt Operative District Scheme is no longer required for a public work.

The Lower Hutt City Council has pursuant to section 33A (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and by resolution passed on the 26th day of April 1965, determined that the designation of railway reserve in respect of the said land is to be deleted accordingly from the district scheme and that the said land be zoned Special Industrial A2.

Every person who claims to be affected by the zoning may appeal to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at any time before the 27th day of May 1965.

A map of the said land and a copy of the provisions of the council’s proposed Ordinances to regulate the development of the said land may be inspected, without fee, in the council offices, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, the War Memorial Library, Lower Hutt, and the branch libraries at Moera and Stokes Valley, at any time when the offices are open to the public.
SCHEDULE
THE land lying between Oxford Terrace, Lower Hutt, and the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa Railway Line and extending from the Oxford Terrace Subway of the Waterloo Railway Station northwards a distance of approximately 300 ft and southwards approximately 420 ft and with a depth of approximately 85 ft from Oxford Terrace, which said land is delineated on a plan prepared in the offices of the Ministry of Works and numbered T.P. 13514, and deposited in the offices of the Lower Hutt City Council.

GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL

Public Notification of Borough of Gore District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Gore Borough Council made on the 17th day of April 1963, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Gore. The scheme has been deposited in the offices of the Gore Borough Council, Main Street, Gore, and in the Gore Public Library, Main Street, Gore, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than Tuesday, 17 August 1965. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

SPECIAL ORDER
——
Formation of Water Supply Area—Mowhanau Village
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 266 of the Counties Act 1956 and all the powers bestowed on it, the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of a special order as follows:

That the part of the County of Waitotara described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a water supply area, for the purpose of the construction and maintenance of waterworks and the supply of water to persons within the area.

That the name of the said area shall be the Mowhanau Township Water Supply Area.
-
That this special order shall come into force and the said water supply area be constituted on the 1st day of June 1965.
And notice is also given that the above-mentioned resolution will be confirmed at the ordinary meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, at 10 a.m., on 20 May 1965.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area as shown on Plan B 578, prepared by Messrs Wall, Bogle, and Payne, registered surveyors, Wanganui, of the Mowhanau Village, situated in Block XV, Nukumaru Survey District.
