NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Combined Area District Scheme

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that by a decision dated 11 March 1965, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented to the extent only that the applicant will be permitted, subject to certain conditions, to use the present floor space of the building for the purposes of a grocery shop, the application of Mr O. J. Garrick for a departure under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 from the above-mentioned district scheme for his property in Tukapo Street, New Plymouth.

The substance and effect of the consent is to permit, subject to certain conditions relative to the provision of a loading bay and off-street parking facilities, internal alterations only to the building on the land to allow the extension of the present non-conforming use as a grocery-dairy.

The full description of the land is shown in the said application which may be inspected, without fee, at any time during office hours at the Town Clerk’s Office, Liardet Street, New Plymouth.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Combined Area District Scheme

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that by a decision dated 11 March 1965, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented, subject to certain conditions, to the application of Messrs F. S. Grayling, G. I. McKenzie, and D. N. Johnston for a departure under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 from the above-mentioned scheme for their property in Devon Street East, New Plymouth.

The substance and effect of the consent is to permit, subject to limitations as to use and trading hours, the establishment upon the said land of a service station and petrol reselling station notwithstanding that the said land is at present zoned Residential.

The full description of the land is shown in the said application which may be inspected, without fee, at any time during office hours at the Town Clerk’s Office, Liardet Street, New Plymouth.

MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR A WATER RACE

NOTICE is hereby given that Arthur Douglas Charles Hore will apply by application No. 17/1965 to the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Tuesday the 11th day of May 1965, for a licence for a water race to divert three heads of water from Swinburn Creek, in the north-west of Block V, Swinburn District, 6 chains east of A. S. Pearson’s boundary then going through lands of E. J. Coyle, D. J. Scott, and Mount Ida Farms Ltd, terminating at boundary of Section 7, Block IV, same district, for irrigation purposes.

Objections must be filed in the office of the Mining Registrar, Cromwell, and notified to applicant whose address for service is at the office of Brodrick and Parcell, Solicitors, Melmore Street, Cromwell, at least three days before the above-mentioned time of hearing.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.


STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
