"The amount of share capital of Arcadia Milk Bars Ltd.,
as altered by the order of the Supreme Court dated the 1st
day of March 1965, confirming the reduction of the share
capital of the company is £3,500 divided into 3,000 8 per cent
cumulative preference shares of £1 each and 1,000 ordinary
“A” shares of 10s. each, and at the date of registration of
this minute the amount of 10s. is deemed to be paid up on
each “A” ordinary share, and the amount of £1 is deemed
to be paid up on each preference share."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
Matakana Island Roading Loan 1965, £6,000 authorised to be
raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing roading on
Matakana Island, the said Tauranga County Council hereby
makes a special rate of three decimal five three pence (3.53d.)
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Matakana
Island Special Rating Area of the Katikati Riding of the
County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on
the 5th day of April 1965.

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing a district library building, the said
Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal point five five pence (0.55d.) in the pound (£) upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of
Opotiki; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

RICHMOND BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Prevention Plant Loan 1964, £5,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and regulations thereunder, and
of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Richmond
Borough Council acting in its capacity as Urban Fire Authority
hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) to be known as the
Richmond Borough Council Fire Prevention Plant Loan
1964, of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be
raised by the Richmond Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a Bedford
fire appliance, the said Richmond Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of decimal one six eight three
six pence (0.16836d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rate-
able property in the Borough of Richmond; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
18th day of January in each and every year during the currency
of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed at a special meeting
of the Richmond Borough Council, held in the Council
Chambers, Cambridge Street, Richmond, on Wednesday
the 24th day of March 1965.

BLUFF BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bluff
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £10,550 authorised to be raised by the Bluff Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of
waterworks holding tanks the said Bluff Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of .462d. (point four six two
pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the borough, comprising the whole of the Borough
of Bluff, and that the special rate shall be an annually recur-
ring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-
yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September
in each and every year during currency of the loan, being
a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Renewal Loan 1965
"THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and
to each and every power it thereunto enabling for the purpose
of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,850 described
as Waterworks Renewal Loan 1965, and authorised to be
raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that
portion of the Water Main Renewal Loan 1954, £184,600,
which matures on the 15th day of May 1965, the body
corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the
Borough of Dargaville, hereby makes a special rate of decimal
two four one (0.241d.) of a penny in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of
Dargaville on the basis of the unimproved value; such special
rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
Notice of Intention to Take Land
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work,
namely, the provision of a road being portion of Skyhigh-
Mangatawhiri Road at Paparimu School Corner, within the
County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public
work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required
to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan
of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the
public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in
Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, with-
out fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objec-
tions to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and
send the same within 40 days from the 5th day of April 1965,
being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the
County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
