Notice Respecting Alteration of Boundaries of County of Waitotara and City of Wanganui

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Waitotara and included in the City of Wanganui. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.

All that area containing 7 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 9219, Block VIII, Westmere Survey District.

Constituting Certain Secondary Urban Fire Districts

Pursuant to section 18 of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby declares the urban area of Mamaku in the County of Rotorua, the urban area of Hari Hari in the County of Westland, the urban area of Thornbury in the County of Wallace, the urban area of Paihia in the County of Bay of Islands, and the urban area of Ngatea in the County of Hauraki Plains to be secondary urban fire districts by the names of the Mamaku Secondary Urban Fire District, the Hari Hari Secondary Urban Fire District, the Thornbury Secondary Urban Fire District, the Paihia Secondary Urban Fire District, and the Ngatea Secondary Urban Fire District respectively.

Declaring Land and Easements Over Land Taken for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of an Aerodrome in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of an aerodrome; and that an easement of right of way is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of an aerodrome over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen as from the date hereinafter mentioned the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity for herself, her tenants, agents, servants, workmen, licensees, and invitees in common with the registered proprietor of the said land his successors in title, tenants, agents, servants, workmen, and all other persons lawfully using the land from time to time and at all times by day and by night to go, pass, and repass with or without horses and domestic animals of any kind and with or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles (loaded or unloaded), machinery, and implements of any kind over and along the said land and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and that an easement for the transmission of electric power is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of an aerodrome over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen as from the date hereinafter mentioned the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, repair, renew, and maintain a line or lines of cables under and along the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also declares that this declaration shall take effect from and after the 5th day of April 1965.
