(4) All that area in the Nelson Land District, being part of Section 11, Block VI, Waitapu Survey District, owned by E. C., E. M., and B. N. Wadsworth, and containing approximately 150 acres, excluding therefrom the Blue Lake Wildlife Refuge as described in Gazette No. 12 of 4 March 1948, at page 246.

(5) All that area in the Nelson Land District, being Lots 2 and 7, Plan 2637, Block IX, Wai-iti Survey District, and containing approximately 58 acres, the property of Mr R. N. Howes.

North Canterbury Acclimatisation District

(1) Ahuriri Lagoon—All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District situated in Block X, Halswell Survey District, in the Counties of Ellesmere and Halswell, containing approximately 615 acres, being Rural Sections 11167, the property of Misses A. and M. S. Welsh, and 31239, part Rural Section 3319, the property of Mr D. Mora, part Reserve 3598, including Lots 1 and 2, and Lots 4 to 11, inclusive, leased by the North Canterbury Catchment Board, Crown land and road reserves. Commencing at the north-western corner of Rural Section 11167 on the eastern boundary of Burke’s Drain and Road Reserve and proceeding in an easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Rural Section 11167, and Reserve 3598 to the south-eastern corner of Rural Section 11165; thence easterly in a straight line crossing Reserve 3598 to the south-eastern corner of Rural Section 11166; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Reserve 3598 and Rural Section 31239 to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 31239 at the western side of the Christchurch-Akaroa Main Highway; thence southerly, south-easterly, and easterly along the said highway and crossing road reserve, the old course of the Halswell River, and road reserve to the south-east side of the road reserve along the south bank of the old course of the Halswell River; thence south-westerly along the south-east side of the said road reserve to the eastern side of the road reserve on the eastern bank of the Halswell Canal; thence south-easterly by a straight line across the said road reserve and the Halswell Canal to the southern boundary of Reserve 3598 on the western bank of the said Halswell Canal; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of Reserve 3598 and across Matthews Road, and continuing along the southern boundary of Reserve 3598 to the south-eastern side of Davidsons Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of Davidsons Road to the southern bank of the Halswell River.

(2) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Mytholm, Lake Sumner, Marion, Saddle, Minchin, Katrine, and Noble Survey Districts, known as the Lakes Station, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the north branch of the Hurunui River and the Sisters Stream; thence by the left bank of the aforesaid north branch of the Hurunui River in a north-westerly direction to Lake Sumner; thence by a right line in a northerly direction to the summit of Mount Longfellow; thence by a right line in a north-westerly direction to the most northern point of Lake Marion; thence by a line parallel to and 1 mile on the north side of Lake Sumner and the Hurunui River to the summit of the Southern Alps; thence south along the aforesaid Southern Alps to a point 1 mile on the south side of Harpers Pass; thence by a line parallel to and 1 mile south of the Hurunui River, Lake Sumner, the canal, Loch Katrine, the Dray Road, Lake Taylor, to a point 1 mile due south of Trig. Station T in Noble Survey District; thence from the last-named point in an easterly direction to Dog Hill; thence by a right line to the point of commencement; save and excepting from the above-described area Rural Section 33978, Lake Sheppard, and a strip of land 11 chains wide surrounding the said Lake Sheppard.

(3) The property of Mr Douglas Deans, of Darfield, being Rural Sections 4010x, 4012, 8985x, 17568, 17568x, 22175x, 22176x, 22176w, 22176y, and 22176z, and parts of Rural Sections 3222, 3838, 3839, 4010, 4011, 4116, 4117, 4118, 4119, 8982, 8986, 16085, 22175, and 22176, situated in Blocks I and V, Hawkins Survey District, containing by admeasurement 955 acres 3 roods 25 perches, and being the land in certificate of title, Volume 281, folio 131, Canterbury Registry, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(4) The property of the New Zealand Refrigerating Co. Ltd., at Islington, in the County of Paparua, containing 829 acres 3 roods 22·5 perches, more or less, and being part R.S.s 6132, 6162, and 8472; part R.S.s 6132, 6162; part R.S.s 4463, 5993, 6131, 6172 and 8472; part R.S. 4463; Lot 1, D.P. 17060, being part R.S. 4463, part R.S.s 5993, 6131, 6132, and 6162; R.S. 37787; R.S. 3998; R.S.s 3077, 4205, and part R.S. 1983; part R.S. 4382; R.S.s 9199, 13501, and part Reserve 330; Lot 1, D.P. 1777, being part R.S. 1983; parts R.S. 7194; R.S. 7686; R.S. 32195; Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4246, being R.S.s 2776 and 3054; Lot 1, D.P. 2337, being part R.S. 7194; Reserve 333; and closed road in Proclamation 215; all situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Christchurch Survey District, as shown on plan deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and as further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(5) All that area of land containing 126 acres, more or less, at Coutts Island, in the Land District of Canterbury, vested in the North Canterbury Catchment Board, and being parts of Rural Sections 2208, 2272, 2383, 2384, and a portion of closed road situated in Block II, of the Christchurch Survey District, as shown on plan marked I.A. 46/16/25 deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(6) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of the intersection of Blake’s Road and Belfast Road; thence easterly generally along Belfast Road to its intersection with Crawfords Road; thence southerly along Crawfords Road, a distance of 2038 links to its intersection with an unnamed road; thence westerly a distance of 500 links along the unnamed road; thence southerly a distance of 50 links along the western boundary of the said unnamed road; thence easterly a distance of 1450 links along the northern boundary of Lots 5 and 6, Deposited Plan 593, to the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 6; thence southerly a distance of 1815 links along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 6 to the south-eastern boundary thereof; thence north-westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 6 and Lot 5, Deposited Plan 593, a distance of 2770 links to the north-western boundary of Lot 19, Deposited Plan 699; thence southerly a distance of 2021·4 links along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 19 to Radcliffe Road; thence westerly along Radcliffe Road to its intersection with Blake’s Road; thence northerly generally along Blake’s Road to its intersection with Belfast Road, the commencing point, being the property of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Co. Ltd., Belfast, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(7) All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District known as the Washpen and bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Waikari-Reefton State Highway No. 72 and the Waikari-Waitohi Main Highway No. 143; thence south-westerly along the northern side of the Waikari-Waitohi Main Highway No. 143 and bounding Lot 1, D.P. 5471, occupied by Mr F. G. Forrester, for a distance of 6920·4 links; thence continuing along the northern side of the said main highway for a distance of 962 links and bounding part R.S. 7540, D.P. 1525, the property of Mr D. J. Cunningham and Mr R. Stewart; thence in a north-westerly direction through the said R.S. 7540, D.P. 1525, and Lot 2, D.P. 11568, owned and occupied by Mr R. N. Gilbert, for a distance of 6250 links to Gilberts Road; thence along this southern side of Gilberts Road in an easterly direction for 11943·15 links to the intersection of Gilberts Road and the Waikari-Reefton State Highway No. 72; thence along the western side of the Waikari-Reefton State Highway No. 72, in a southerly direction for a distance of 1414·5 links to the intersection of the Waikari-Reefton State Highway No. 72 and the Waikari-Waitohi Main Highway No. 143 the point of commencement, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(8) All that area of land, being parts Sections 14 and 15, Blocks 8 and 12, in the Skiddaw Survey District, known as Horseshoe Lake on Glynn Wye Station, owned by Edward Percy Harold Burberry, and commencing at a point being the eastern end of Kakapo Brook Bridge on State Highway No. 72 and proceeding in a southerly and easterly direction along the southern side of State Highway No. 72 for a distance of 5588·5 links; thence in a southerly direction for a distance of 1250 links; thence in a westerly direction for a distance of 3250 links; thence in a northerly direction along the east bank of Kakapo Brook, for a distance of 5506 links to the eastern end of Kakapo Brook Bridge on State Highway No. 72, the point of commencement and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(9) All that area containing 38 acres, more or less, situated in Block II, Selwyn Survey District, being the bed of the stream forming the northern boundary of Rural Section 8325, commencing at the western side of Ridgen’s Road and proceeding westerly to a point 5 chains above the springs, a total distance of 38 chains, more or less, together with a strip of land 5 chains in width on both sides of the said stream, being parts of Rural Sections 8325, 22385, 13932, 13905, and 8310–8315 inclusive, being the property of Mr E. J. Ridgen, Greendale, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(10) All that area situated in Block XII, Grey Survey District, containing by admeasurement 599 acres and 30 perches, more or less, being, firstly, Lot 3, Deposited Plan 5691, being parts Rural Sections 3197, 3785, and 3824, all certificate of title, Volume 349, folio 126; and secondly, Lot 3 and part Lot 6, Deposited Plan 2818, being Rural Section 3725 and parts Rural Sections 3197, 3785, 3884, 4058, 4327, 4340, 5605, and part Lot 19, Reserve 2640, all certificate of title, Volume 349, folio 79; and thirdly, Lot 1, Deposited Plan 7538, being Rural Section 3997, all certificate of title, Volume 504, folio 296, being the property of Mr J. M. B. Starkey, Amberley, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(11) All that area situated in Block XII, Rangiora Survey District, containing by admeasurement 89 acres and 5·2 perches, more or less, being, firstly, Lot 1, Deposited Plan 10458, being part Rural Section 1104, all certificate of title, Volume 440, folio 8; and secondly, parts Rural Sections 1104, 2693, and 22393, all certificate of title, Volume 440, folio 9, excepting thereout Lot 1, Deposited Plan 16992, being the property of Mr H. F. Barker, Woodend, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(12) The Heathcote River and all its tributaries from the Lincoln Road bridge to the Ferry Road bridge.

(13) Land at Ohoka, namely, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, Eyre County, containing 59 acres and 32 perches, more or less, being Lot 3, Deposited Plan No. 1641, and being part Rural Section 1115 (all certificate of title, Volume 545, folio 10); parts Rural Section 1114 (all certificate of title, Volume 148, folio 47); Rural Sections 8503, 8504, 8505, and parts Rural Sections 1114 and 1615 (all certificate of title, Volume 430, folio 179). All situated in Block XIV, Rangiora Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(14) Lake Constance, namely, all that area in the Canterbury Land District, Selwyn County, containing 50 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 5934, and being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 3317, situated in Block VII, Fighting Hill Survey District, and as may be further defined by the erection of white-painted posts.

(15) The River Avon from its source in Rural Sections 177 and 144, Block X, Christchurch Survey District, to the Pleasant Point Bridge between Rural Section 11212 and 14342, Block XII, Christchurch Survey District, including the Waimairi and Wairarapa Streams, Dudleys Creek, and all other tributaries of the River Avon, and of the said streams and creek.
