Notice of Voluntary Winding Up by Resolution and Notice
of Meeting of Creditors
PURSUANT to sections 269 and 284 of the Companies Act 1955,
notice is hereby given that as an extraordinary resolution by
memorandum signed for the purpose of becoming an entry
in the minute book of the company as provided by subsections
(1) and (4) of sections 362 of the Companies Act 1955, it
was resolved as follows:
“1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities
continue in business, and that it is advisable to wind up,
and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
2. That in pursuance of section 285 of the Companies Act
1955, Albert Gordon Fisher of Whangarei, company secretary,
be and he is appointed as liquidator of the company.”
And further notice is hereby given that a meeting of the
creditors of the company will be held pursuant to section
284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Agricultural and
Pastoral Society Hall, Dent Street, Whangarei, on the 12th
day of March 1965, at 2 p.m., at which meeting a full state-
ment of the position of the company’s affairs, together with
a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their
claims will be laid before the meeting; and at which meeting
the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may
nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in
pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a
committee of inspection.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of Greig Industries Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby
given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Greig Industries
Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix
the 26th day of March 1965 as the day on or before which
the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims,
and to establish any title they may have to priority under
section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded
from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts
are proved, or as the case may be, from objecting to the
distribution.

of Meeting of Creditors
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book
signed in accordance with subsections 1 and 4 of section 362
of the Companies Act 1955, the shareholders of Furnlee
Furnishers Ltd. (in receivership), passed the following
resolution:
“That as the company, by reason of its liabilities cannot
continue in business, it be wound up voluntarily.”
Further notice is hereby given that a meeting of creditors
will be held in the No. 1 Committee Room, Ellen Melville
Memorial Hall, Chancery Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, 16
March 1965, at 2.15 p.m., to appoint a liquidator and if
thought fit to appoint a committee of inspection.

Notice of General Meeting
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter
of J. B. Burgess Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given
pursuant to section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a
general meeting of the above company will be held at the
office of Surman and Brenton-Rule, Public Accountants, Bank
Street, Whangarei, on Wednesday the 31st day of March
1965, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid
before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and
the property of the company has been disposed of, and to
receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.
Further Business:
To consider and if thought fit to pass the following resolu-
tion, namely:
“That the books and papers of the company and of the
liquidator shall be retained by the liquidator for five years
from the date hereof.”
Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting
is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead
of him. A proxy need not also be a member. Proxies to be
used at the meeting must be lodged with the undersigned at
Bank Street, Whangarei, not later than 11 a.m. on the 29th
day of March 1965.
