Tariff Notice No. 1965/10—Applications for Continuation of Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for continuation of the following approvals of the Minister of Customs:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing on or before 18 March 1965. Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, and supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportions of New Zealand and imported materials used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Tariff Notice No. 1965/11—Application for Variation of Determination

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made for exclusion of goods as follows from a current determination of the Minister of Customs and for admission of such goods at the reduced rates of duty prescribed under the substantive Tariff item therefor:

*Approvals lapse on the dates indicated, the goods thereafter being dutiable according to their substantive Tariff classification. If continuation of a concession is desired for a further period, formal application should be made to the Collector of Customs at least one month prior to the date of expiry.
