NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for regrouping; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Kingston and is there open for inspection; and that any person affected by the taking of the said land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on and from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 30 May 1946, published in Gazette, No. 38, Volume II, on 6 June 1946, at page 772, and registered under No. K. 30381.
