PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the First Schedule hereto and the service lane described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Havelock North and be under the control and management of the Havelock North Borough Council.

The Otago Electric Power District Boundary Order 1965

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 15th day of February 1965

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 5A of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 (as inserted by section 3 of the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1963), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Otago Electric Power District Boundary Order 1965.

  2. The boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District are hereby altered so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District, Southland County, containing by admeasurement 12,560 acres, more or less, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 6, Block VII, Slopedown Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-east boundary of Section 6 aforesaid and that boundary produced across a public road to its intersection with the north-west boundary of Run 582; thence north-easterly generally and south-easterly generally along the northern boundary of Run 582 to the southernmost corner of Section 3, Block XII, Kuriwao Survey District; thence south-westerly by a right line to Trig. D. (Catlins Cone), in Block II, Rimu Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the watershed through Marquee and Flowerpot to peg number XIII (D.P. 3412) a point on the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block III, Mokoreta Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 3 to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3410; thence south-westerly and westerly generally along the east boundary of Lot 2 aforesaid to and along the south boundary of Section 2, Block III, Mokoreta Survey District, to and across a public road to the south boundary of Section 1, Block III, Mokoreta Survey District; thence westerly and north-westerly generally along the south and south-west boundaries of Section 1 aforesaid and that boundary produced to and across the Mokoreta River to the right bank thereof; thence north-easterly generally along the right bank of the Mokoreta River to a point in line with the west boundary of Section 6, Block VII, Slopedown Survey District; thence northerly and north-easterly to and along the western and north-western boundaries of Section 6 aforesaid to the point of commencement. As the said area is shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 658 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Varying an Order in Council Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 19 June 1963 and published in Gazette on 27 June 1963, Volume II, page 871, and affecting the Maori freehold land known as part Ti Kahu Block, by including in the Maori Reservation thereby created the area of land set out in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land situated and described as follows:

0 0 32·92 Part Ti Kahu Block, situate in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered M.A. 21/3/171 lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
