Town and Country Planning Act 1953-Howick Borough District Scheme (Area No. 2) (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Howick Borough Council in the interests of the Howick Borough District Scheme (Area No. 2), which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of August 1964 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of August 1964.

Pursuant to subsection 6 of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Waikato County Council in the interests of the Waikato County District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of March 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of March 1965.

Licensing McCallum Bros. Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Pakihi Island, Tamaki Strait, as a Site for a Loading Jetty, Flume and Ramp
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits McCallum Bros. Ltd. (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors and assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Pakihi Island, Tamaki Strait, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8903 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a loading jetty, flume and ramp thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds (Β£3) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (Β£3).

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1963.

Alteration of Boundaries, City of Timaru and County of Levels (Time and Place for Hearing Appeals)
Pursuant to section 36 of the Local Government Commission Act 1961, it is hereby notified that the Local Government Appeal Authority has fixed 10 a.m. on Monday, 6 April 1964, as the time, and the Courthouse, Timaru, as the place for the hearing of the appeal by the Timaru City Council against the final scheme of the Local Government Commission dated 22 November 1963 providing for the exclusion of a certain area of land from the County of Levels and its inclusion in the City of Timaru.
