Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 14th day of December 1964.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Ongo Survey District, for Road (Makohine Hill Deviation on the No. 1 State Highway)
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ohingaiti and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Licensing Cedric Albert Gibbs, of Great Barrier Island, to Use and Occupy Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Shoal Bay as a Site for a Jetty and Ramp
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Cedric Albert Gibbs, of Great Barrier Island (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Shoal Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11919 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds and the annual sum so payable seven pounds.

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1964.

Licensing the Navy League of New Zealand, Canterbury Branch (Inc.), to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Redcliffs, Sumner, as a Site for a Jetty
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Navy League of New Zealand, Canterbury Branch (Inc.) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Redcliffs, Sumner, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11921, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 30 November 1964, declared the undermentioned specification to be a standard specification:

Exemption of a Class of Persons From the Exchange Control (Overseas Remuneration) Regulations 1964
Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Exchange Control (Overseas Remuneration) Regulations 1964, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand hereby exempts from the requirements of the Regulations any person (other than a person domiciled in New Zealand) who would not be deemed to be ordinarily resident in New Zealand if the period of 12 months specified in Regulation 2 (2) (b) were enlarged to 36 months.
