Appointment of Queen’s Counsel

His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with
the concurrence of the Chief Justice of New Zealand, has been
pleased to appoint:

Barrister,

to be Queen’s Counsel.

Appointment to Hear Appeals Under the Soil Conservation
and Rivers Control Act 1941

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 103 of the Soil
Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, I, John Ross
Marshall, for the Minister of Justice, hereby appoint Stewart
Hardy, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, of Hamilton, to hear
all such appeals as are referred to in that subsection excluding
every appeal to be heard and determined by the Land Valua-
tion Court, and hereby revoke all previous appointments
made under that section.
