  1. For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a public inquiry commencing on Monday, 1 March 1965, at 10.30 a.m., in the Board Room, First Floor, New Zealand Law Society Building, Waring Taylor Street, Wellington.

  2. Any person who intends to tender evidence should comply with the "Notes for the Guidance of Witnesses", which have been prepared by the Board. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the undersigned.

  3. Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered, compiled in accordance with these notes, should be lodged with the undersigned not later than Monday, 15 February 1965. Each statement will need to be presented under oath at the public inquiry of the person tendering it.

Classification of Roads in Tuapeka County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 21st day of August 1950† as relates to the road described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Tuapeka County Council's proposed classification of the said road as set out in the said Schedule.

Classification of Roads in Mangonui County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 7th day of June 1950† as relates to the former Waipapakauri-Awanui Main Highway No. 562, and so much of the Warrant dated the 24th day of May 1951‡ as relates to Larmers Road, and so much of the Warrant dated the 14th day of October 1955§ as relates to the portion of the Waipapakauri - Te Kao Road, formerly known as the Far North Road, described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Mangonui County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto.
