Railway Land Set Apart for a Post Office in the City of Auckland
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for a post office from and after the 30th day of November 1964.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

0 0 2·9 Part Railway Land in Proclamation No. 2216; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18913 (S.O. 44310) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for a Public School in the Borough of East Coast Bays
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Mairangi Bay and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Better Utilisation (Flood Protection and Bridge Approaches) in Block V, Maungatua Survey District
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for better utilisation (flood protection and bridge approaches); and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Henley and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the land should, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, set forth in writing any objections they may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaring Application of Engineering Associates Act 1961 to an Association

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Opape Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 18 December 1930, and published in the Gazette, No. 90, Volume III, page 3908, on 23 December 1930, and registered on 28 November 1940, under No. W. 1697.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed Within the County of Manawatu (Notice No. Ag. 8088)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section, the following special order made by the Manawatu County Council on the 13th day of October 1964, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, the Manawatu County Council resolves by way of special order that the plant Boxthorn (Lycium ferocissimum syn. Lycium horridum) be declared a noxious weed in the County of Manawatu, as from the 16th day of November 1964.

Decisions Under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33—Notice No. 21
DECISIONS in interpretation of the Sales Tax Act, notified in the Supplement to the Gazette of 21 December 1961, No. 83, and from time to time amended, are hereby further amended as follows:
After paragraph (3) of Decision No. 1, add:
(3A) A person being a “contractor” as referred to in section 3 of the Sales Tax Amendment Act 1933, who does work on taxable goods which are the property of a licensed wholesaler and which are for resale by the licensed wholesaler, provided that this exemption shall not apply to any person unless he is the holder of a certificate of exemption for the time being in force issued to him by the Collector of Sales Tax upon application made in a form to be supplied by the Collector; and provided also that any such certificate of exemption issued to the contractor will be applicable only to the above mentioned work and not to any other taxable work done or to taxable goods sold. 21–(S) 22/3.
After Paragraph 5 (k) of Decision No. 1, add:
(1) The installation of television aerials. 21–(S) 3/118/13.
