BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the following variations to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Ashburton were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 3rd day of February 1964.

The variations aforementioned are as follows:

(a) Proposed extension to the existing Industrial A Zone, to include Town Section 84 and part Town Section 83, Nos. 106–110 Moore Street, at present zoned as Residential A.

(b) Exclusion of part of Lot 1, D.P. 10950, No. 27 Walshs Road, being that portion at present proposed as entrance from Walshs Road to the area zoned as proposed reserve and designated on the scheme plan as “specialised sports area”, and rezoning, after boundary alterations to conform with subdivisional standards, the said area as Residential A. Recreation Reserve R4366, No. 44, Creek Road, at present zoned as Residential A is accordingly to be rezoned as reserve to provide entrance to the aforesaid proposed "specialised sports area".

(c) An addition to the code of ordinances, Ashburton Borough District Scheme, ordinance 9, Industrial A Zone Conditional Use. Subclause (c) to read as follows:

(c) Floor area in excess of 5,000 sq. ft. for any of the predominant use.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on 10 February 1964.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in the Ashburton Public Library; these may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so inquires at any time when these are open to the public.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £7 per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.
Single copies available as issued.
The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
