NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 291 (3) of the Companies Act 1955, that the final meeting of the creditors of Steelbuild Agencies Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), will be held in the Chamber of Commerce Library, corner Oxford Terrace and Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday the 17th day of November 1964, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and how the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Takapuna Municipal Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1964, £85,000 (£50,000 Portion)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Takapuna Municipal Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1964, £85,000 (£50,000 portion) authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of purchasing and developing land, erecting buildings, and purchasing and installing equipment for a municipal vehicle testing station, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of 0·076d. (decimal nought seven six pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 20th day of October 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Loan No. 34, 1964—Redemption £50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) authorised to be raised by the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) of Reticulation Loan No. 11, 1951, the said Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby makes a special rate of forty-two thousandths (0·042) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas district, comprising the Boroughs of Eastbourne, Petone, Porirua, Upper Hutt, and Tawa; the City of Lower Hutt; part of the City of Wellington; part of the Hutt County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid.”
Dated at Lower Hutt this 15th day of October 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Parking Supplementary Loan 1964, £8,000
“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Parking Loan 1963, eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) was raised, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nine six two pence (0·1962d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area constituted for the said loan and more particularly defined in the Authentic Special Rating List; and that the said rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 20 years, and that the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby appropriates and pledges the foregoing rate as security for the said loan.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of Resolution No. 1744, passed by the Otahuhu Borough Council and recorded in the minutes of the proceedings of the special meeting held on 20 October 1964.

Staff Housing Loan 1964, £4,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of £4,500, being the Staff Housing Loan 1964 of £4,500 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house and outbuildings thereon or purchasing land and an existing house for council staff, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven four pence (0·074d.) in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

Renewal Loan (1964), £57,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of interest and yearly instalments of principal and other charges on a loan of £57,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned enactments in order to provide moneys for the repayment of the balance of the Waitemata Electric-power Board Reticulation Extension Loan (1954), £155,000: portion £135,000, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 12/1000ths of a 1d. in the £ upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, dated 18 October 1923, and amended by Proclamations appearing in the Gazettes, dated 27 November 1924,
