Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, for a Maori School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a Maori school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Kaikohe and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land shall set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Licensing Ian Fawcett (Queen Charlotte Endeavour Inlet Boatels) to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Endeavour Inlet, Queen Charlotte Sound, as a Site for a Jetty

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Ian Fawcett, trading under the style or title of Queen Charlotte Endeavour Inlet Boatels (hereinafter called the licensee which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Endeavour Inlet Queen Charlotte Sound as shown on plan marked M.D. 9774, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a jetty thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall so far as applicable apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable seven pounds (£7).
3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1964.

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Bay of Islands Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on and from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and shall be included in the Bay of Islands Development Scheme.
