The Standards Act 1941—Specifications Declared to be Standard Specifications
PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 31 August 1964, declared the under-mentioned specifications to be standard specifications:

NZSS 8:1964 Flanges and bolting for pipes, valves, and fittings; being BS 10:1962 (Revision of NZSS 8:Parts 1 to 3:1950 being BS 8:Part 1:1947, BS 8:Part 2:1926, and BS 8:Part 3:1929 respectively).
NZSS 836:1964 Methods for the chemical analysis of butter; being BS 769:1961 (Revision of NZSS 836:1953 being BS 769:1952 amended to meet New Zealand requirements).

PURSUANT to the Standards Act 1941, and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 31 August 1964, amended the under-mentioned standard specifications by the incorporation of the amendments shown hereunder:

The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Model Building Bylaw (NZSS 1900)—Chapter 5:1963: Fire Resisting Construction and Means of Egress
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D 7996. All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 18 December 1964.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice published in the Gazette, No. 92, 10 December 1931, Volume III, page 3464.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 29 September 1937, and published in the Gazette, No. 66, Volume III, 30 September 1937, page 2245.
