In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of International Private Detectives Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company was, on the 15th day of September 1964, presented to the said Court by Art Cabinet Co. Ltd., and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on Friday the 30th day of October 1964, at 10 a.m., and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of the order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for same.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on Bowentown Access Roading Loan 1964, £7,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for constructing road access to Bowen-town, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of one shilling and two pence (1s. 2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bowentown Special Rating Area of the Katikati Riding of the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 5th day of October 1964.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Library Building Loan 1961, £298,000 Second Issue of £100,000

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a building to accommodate a library, shops, and offices, and demolishing the existing building, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and seventy-seven thousandths of a penny (0·177d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council on the 21st day of September 1964.

Waterworks Redemption Loan 1964, Issue of £62,300
(Fourth instalment for repayment of debentures in Waterworks Loan 1952, of £267,600)

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty two thousand three hundred pounds (£62,300) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply Extension and Distribution Loan 1952, of £267,600, which matures on 1 November 1964, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of eleven one hundredths of a penny (0·11d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 23rd day of September 1964, the council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matter listed in the Schedule hereto. The change of the district scheme, as now recommended by the council, has been deposited in the council office, 70 George Street, Tuakau, for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the office is open to the public.
