Variation of Notice Declaring Land to be Subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Rahotu Development Scheme)

WHEREAS by notice dated the 7th day of June 1955, and published in the Gazette, on the 16th day of June 1955, at page 981, the lands described in the said notice were declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953: And whereas by certain subsequent order of the Maori Land Court the descriptions of the said lands have been altered and they are now known by the descriptions shown in the Second Schedule hereto and it is desirable to vary the said notice to show the new description of the land: Now therefore pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act and section 25 (h) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, the Board of Maori Affairs doth hereby vary the said notice by substituting for the descriptions of the lands in the First Schedule the description of the land set out in the Second Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare the said land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
