ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 22 perches situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being Lots 389–392 (inclusive), on the plan marked M.O.W. 18741 (H.D.C. 31289) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red, being part Rural Section 380, part certificate of title, Volume 94, folio 234, Canterbury Land Registry.

Licensing New Zealand Roadmakers Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Ngatea, Piako River, as a Site for a Jetty


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits New Zealand Roadmakers Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Ngatea, Piako River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11868 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, as a site for a jetty, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of September 1964.

Licensing Trustees for the Moeraki Boat Owners Association to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Moeraki as a Site for a Slipway and Prescribing Dues to be charged for the Use of the Slipway


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Edward William Pile, Sydney John Dodd, David Leonard, Edward John Pile, Raphael George Morrissey, Albert Amos Booth, William John Pile, Douglas Gordon Kedzlie, and John Douglas Kedzlie as trustees for the Moeraki Boat Owners Association (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Moeraki, as shown on plan marked M.D. 2692, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a slipway thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby prescribes that the dues set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the licensees for the use of the said slipway.


FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The annual sum payable by the licensees shall be one shilling, payable on demand.

  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the first day of September 1964.


SECOND SCHEDULE
DUES

  1. Every person who is a member of the Moeraki Boat Owners Association and who shall use the said slipway with any boat shall pay the following dues to the licensees for the use thereof:

(a) For one day or part thereof and up to three days, 12s. 6d;

(b) For three days and up to six days, 15s.;

(c) For seven days, £1;

(d) For each day or part thereof over seven days, 1s. 6d. per day.

  1. Every person who is not a member of the Moeraki Boat Owners Association and who shall use the said slipway with any boat shall pay the following dues to the licensees for the use thereof:

(a) For one day or part thereof and up to 3 days, £1 5s.;

(b) For three days and up to six days, £1 10s.;

(c) For seven days, £2;

(d) For each subsequent day or part thereof over seven days, 3s.

Notice to Make Payment of Land Tax Under the Land and Income Tax Act 1954


PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:

Land tax on land held on the 31st day of March 1964 shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of October 1964 at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at any money-order post office.
