Additional Land at Kai Iwi Taken for the Purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway from and after the 21st day of September 1964.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Invercargill City Council on the 10th day of November, 1963:
“That public notice in that behalf having been duly given as required by law and no objections having been received in respect of the proposal the Invercargill City Council in pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, hereby resolves that the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto being land vested in fee simple in the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill be, and the same is, hereby declared a public reserve for the purposes of recreation subject to the provisions of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.”
