Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above-mentioned draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 9 October 1964.

Classification of Roads in Tauranga County

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes the Warrant dated the 28th day of October 1955† which relates to roads in Tauranga County, and hereby approves the Tauranga County Council's proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.

TAURANGA COUNTY

Roads Classified in Class Two

Cambridge Road (from the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) to Moffatts Road).
Kairua Road.
Moffatts Road (from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellingdon via Gisborne) to Cambridge Road).
Omokoroa Beach Road.
Paengaroa-Maketu Road.
Papamoa Beach Road.
Papamoa Domain Road.
Pyes Pa Road (from the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) to Oropi Gorge Road).
Welcome Bay Road.

Roads Classified in Class Three

All other roads under the control of the Tauranga County Council.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Ngataki Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 28 October 1958, and published in the Gazette, 6 November 1958, Volume III, page 1567.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Ngataki Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of the Proclamations and notice listed in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

A Proclamation, dated 29 November 1941, published in the Gazette, 4 December 1941, Volume III, page 3840, and registered as No. K. 27527.

A Proclamation, dated 21 January 1942, published in the Gazette, 29 January 1942, Volume I, page 407, and registered as No. K. 27644.
