Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land for University Purposes in Block X, Christchurch Survey District


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for university purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Fendalton and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send such written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Bulls and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Land in the North Auckland Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land


NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

Lot 50, D.P. 7196, being part Te Karae 1 and 2A Blocks, situated in Block I, Mangamuka Survey District. Also Lot 51, D.P. 7196, and D.P. 7200, being part Te Karae 1 and 2A Blocks, situated in Block I, Mangamuka Survey District, and Block XIII, Maungataniwha Survey District: Total area, 1,726 acres, more or less. As shown on plan No. 5/84 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of August 1964.

Constitution of City of Waitakere (Time and Place for Hearing of Appeals)


PURSUANT to section 36 of the Local Government Commission Act 1961, it is hereby notified that the Local Government Appeal Authority has fixed 10 a.m. on Monday, 5 October 1964 as the time, and the Court of Arbitration, Auckland, as the place for the hearing of appeals by the Waitemata County Council, the New Lynn Borough Council, and the Glen Eden Borough Council against the final scheme of the Local Government Commission, dated 12 May 1964, providing for the constitution of a borough to be known as the City of Waitakere.

General Permit Issued Under Sections 16 and 17 of the Distillation Amendment Act 1959


STILLS

I, John Francis Cummings, within my official capacity of Chief Inspector of Distilleries and in pursuance of section 17 of the Distillation Amendment Act 1959, do hereby grant general permission for the use of small water stills having a boiler working content not exceeding one quart and an hourly output of less than one gallon provided they are used for no purpose other than for the distillation of water.

Permission is also granted to hospital boards, schools, or universities to use water stills of less than three gallons boiler working content and hourly output or to hold for stock any still provided that particulars as to location of the still and the official responsible for its custody and use are supplied to Collectors of Customs of the districts in which the stills are operated or stored.
