Appointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Maori Welfare Act 1962,
the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons
named in the first column of the Schedule here to to be
Maori wardens for the Maori Executive Committee areas
shown in the second column of the Schedule.

Appointment of Judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands

Pursuant to the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the
Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:
Leonard George Herston Sinclair, Esquire
to be a Judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands on and
from the 1st day of September 1964.

National Conciliation Committee No. 12 Appointed

Pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the
National Conciliation Committee No. 12, for the purpose
of conducting conciliation proceedings in respect of an
application by consent by the Northern, Taranaki, Wellington,
and Canterbury Federation of Waterside Unions Industrial
Association of Workers; the South Island (N.Z.) Waterside
Workers’ Federation Industrial Association of Workers;
the Onehunga Port Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers;
the New Zealand Port Employers’ Association (Incorporated);
the Harbours Association of New Zealand; and the General
Manager of Railways, to the Waterfront Industry Tribunal
for a principal order by consent to apply to waterside workers
employed at Ports covered by General Principal Order
No. 198, dated 24 August 1962, and the port principal orders
supplementary thereto, the General Wage Order of the
Court of Arbitration, dated 19 August 1964.
