Changes to the City of Christchurch Operative District Scheme Section One (Zoning)
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Christchurch were approved by the Council on the 17th day of August 1964.
The Council has resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 18th day of August 1964.
Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been deposited in the council offices, 194 Manchester Street, and in the Public Library serving the district, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Change of the City of Whangarei District Scheme - Map Amendment No. 52
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the council made on the 19th day of August 1964, the council recommended that the Operative District Scheme be changed in respect of Map Amendment No. 52 (Alexander Street - Manse Street connection). The change of the district scheme, as now recommended by the council, has been deposited in the Town Hall and the Public Library, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objection to the proposed change of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked "Objection to Scheme Change" and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 12th day of October 1964. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from the Public Library.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Change to the Borough of Devonport Operative District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that a change to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Devonport was approved by the council by resolution passed by its meeting held on the 19th day of August 1964. The council has also resolved that the change to the scheme shall come into operation on the 31st day of August 1964. The change relates to a reduction of the proposed road widening fronting Victoria Road at Clarence Street and is identified as Change No. 1 to the Borough of Devonport District Scheme.
Copies of the change to the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in the Devonport Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Hearing of Objections to Change No. 5 of Northcote District Scheme
NORTHCOTE Borough Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to Change No. 5 of the Northcote District Scheme will commence at the War Memorial Hall, Rodney Road, Northcote, at 7.30 p.m., on Thursday the 17th day of September 1964, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and from place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard.
All persons who wish to be heard in support of or opposition to the objection shall notify the council accordingly at least three clear days before that date.
The following is a summary of the subject matter of the objection received by the council.
Objector: Birkenhead Borough Council.
Objection: That insufficient provision has been made for future access to the Recreation Reserve from Clarence Road.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Proposed Change to Hutt County District Scheme (Makara Section No. 4)
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Hutt County Council made on 23 July 1964, a change of the above scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The proposed change relates to the rezoning from Rural to Special Residential and Commercial A of 36 acres of land, more or less, being part Section 18, Porirua District, situated on Porirua Road near Glenside, subject to the following conditions:

That adequate provision shall be made for the control of storm water run-off by ponding or other means, either within or on an adjoining area prior to the approval of any subdivisional scheme plan;

That the subdivisional standards, bulk and location requirements, parking and loading of vehicles, and the predominant and conditional uses for the Special Residential and Commercial A Zones shall be the same as set out for the Residential and Commercial A Zones in the proposed Code of Ordinances for the Hutt County Northern Section Review No. 1.
The proposed change has been deposited in the following places:

Post Office, Johnsonville,

Hutt County Council Offices, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington,
and is there open for inspection in accordance with sections 29 and 30A of the Act, without fee, by all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the proposed change may be made by way of written notice in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 (copies of which are obtainable at the places mentioned in the previous paragraph) and may be lodged at the office of the Council, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington, at any time on or before 14 October 1964.
At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
