PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a bathing place for the common use and benefit of the Tuhourangi, Ngati-Whakaue, and associated tribes, and their invitees.

PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council, dated the 17th day of December 1952, published in Gazette, 18 December 1952, Volume III, page 2042, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. S. 44051, authorising the laying off of the street described in the Schedule to the said Order in Council subject to a condition as to the building line, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 5 and 9, D.P. S. 4049, within a distance of 33 ft from the centre line of the said street.

WHEREAS by Our Warrant dated the 24th day of February 1964, issued under the authority of the Letters Patent of His late Majesty King George the Fifth dated the 11th day of May 1917, pursuant to section 27 of the Civil List Act 1950, and under the authority of and subject to the provisions of the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, you were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into and report upon the matters in Our said Warrant set out being matters concerning Parliamentary salaries and allowances:
