NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH (PAROCHIAL DISTRICT OF JOHNSONVILLE) BURIAL GROUND ACT 1964

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees proposes to apply for leave to bring into the General Assembly of New Zealand, in Parliament assembled, during its present session, a Private Bill the objects of which are to close the burial ground on the grounds of St. John’s Anglican Church, Johnsonville, in the City of Wellington, to empower the Board to remove all headstones, monuments, and grave surrounds, to level and plant the ground in grass, trees, and shrubs, and to erect a monument common to all persons interred in the burial ground.

The promoter of this Private Bill is the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees.

Communications or notices to the promoter may be sent to, and a copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of the Board’s solicitors, Messrs Olphert and Bornholdt, 142 Featherston Street, Wellington, C.I.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
