As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked I.A. 46/29/75 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes in Block III, Invercargill Hundred, to the Purposes of a Street

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street, and that the street shall be under the control of the Invercargill City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public streets are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 23·6 perches situated in Block III, Invercargill Hundred, Southland R.D., being part railway land; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18561 (S.O. 6963) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Amending a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Proclamation, dated the 7th day of November 1963, published in the Gazette 1963, Volume III, at page 1798, and registered as Proclamation No. 20163, North Auckland Land Registry (hereinafter termed “the former Proclamation”) defining the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the City of Auckland and the Borough of Newmarket, is hereby so amended that the former Proclamation shall affect the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 18599 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and on the plan marked M.O.W. 8775, referred to in the Schedule to the former Proclamation.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which is railway land by virtue of section 4 of the Government Railways Act 1894 and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
