KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Kairanga County Council will be determining an application received from the Manawatu Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd., for the change of use of land situated at Longburn, and described as Part Lot 12, Block I, D.P. 2848, being part Section 11, Karere Block, Block XIII, Kairanga S.D., from pasture land to warehouse site.

Every person who claims to be affected by the proposed use shall have right to be heard by the Council in person or by counsel, and to call evidence in support of his contentions, if he advises the Council to that effect in writing, not later than 30 July 1964.

BOROUGH OF FEATHERSTON

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

District Scheme—Application for Conditional Use

An application has been received for permission to rebuild a service station in Fitzherbert Street, Featherston. This property is located in a commercial B zone. The proposed use is permitted in this zone subject to the consent by resolution of the Council, provided that such use is in accordance with such resolutions, restrictions, and prohibitions as the Council shall by resolution impose.

Plans of the proposal may be inspected at the Municipal Office, Fox Street, Featherston. Any owner or occupier of property may object to the proposed use by notice in writing delivered to the Council not later than 9 a.m. on 27 July 1964. Every such objector shall state the grounds of the objection, and address for service, and whether the objector desires to be heard by the Town Planning Committee in support of this objection.

PHARMACY BOARD OF NEW ZEALAND

NOTICE OF ELECTION

PURSUANT to the Pharmacy Board Election Regulations 1962, notice is hereby given that an election will be held to fill two extraordinary vacancies on the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, one in the Wellington District, and one in the Canterbury District.

Nominations of candidates, on the prescribed form, close with the Registrar at 4 p.m. on 13 August 1964.

Voting papers, if a poll is required, will be received by the Registrar until 4 p.m. on 3 September 1964.

The place for receiving nominations of candidates and voting papers relating to such candidates is the office of the Registrar, Pharmacy Board of New Zealand, 59 Cambridge Terrace, Wellington C.3.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

ST. JOHN’S ANGLICAN CHURCH (PAROCHIAL DISTRICT OF JOHNSONVILLE) BURIAL GROUND ACT 1964

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees proposes to apply for leave to bring into the General Assembly of New Zealand, in Parliament assembled, during its present session, a Private Bill the objects of which are to close the burial ground on the grounds of St. John’s Anglican Church, Johnsonville, in the City of Wellington, to empower the Board to remove all headstones, monuments, and grave surrounds, to level and plant the ground in grass, trees, and shrubs, and to erect a monument common to all persons interred in the burial ground.

The promoter of this Private Bill is the Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees.

Communications or notices to the promoter may be sent to, and a copy of the Bill may be inspected, at the offices of the Board’s solicitors, Messrs Olphert and Bornholdt, 142 Feathers-ton Street, Wellington, C.1.
