Kawerau College Board of Governors Order 1964

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of July 1964
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Kawerau College Board of Governors Order 1964.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1965. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Kawerau College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
(c) One member appointed by the Kawerau Borough Council;
(d) Two members elected by the members of the school committees of the Kawerau Central Public School, the Kawerau North Public School, and the Kawerau South Public School; and
(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit. - The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which paragraph (d) of clause 2 of this order applies.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 July 1964.

Anglican Boys' Home Society Diocese of Wellington Trust Board Declared a Leasing Authority Under the Public Bodies' Leases Act 1908

Pursuant to the Public Bodies' Leases Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
The Anglican Boys' Home Society Diocese of Wellington Trust Board is hereby declared to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies' Leases Act 1908.

Setting Apart Land in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District, Buller County for the Purposes of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
The land in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing 26·1 perches, more or less, situated in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District, Nelson R.D., adjoining or passing through parts Section IA, Square 143, and Section 15, and part Section 17, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 10384, and thereon coloured green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of July 1964.
