PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Oamaru Grocers Assistants Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1160, situated at 29 Stuart Street, Oamaru, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Pohangina County Council on the 19th day of March, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Pohangina County Council resolves, by way of special order, that the plant named Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans) be and is hereby declared a noxious weed within the district of the County of Pohangina.

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the disciplinary committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 13th day of May 1964, ordered that Bruce Hunter Paton, of Christchurch, barrister and solicitor, be suspended from practice as a barrister or solicitor for a period of two years; and that he pay the sum of 75 guineas costs to the New Zealand Law Society.
