Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of
Street at Balclutha

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the
publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that the
said street shall be under the control of the Balclutha Borough
Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like
manner as other public highways are controlled and main-
tained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated to street:
A. R. P.
0 0 14·85 Part Railway land being
Part Lots 4, 6, and 8, Block III, D.P. 19, being
part of Section 5, Block XXXV, Clutha Sur-
vey District, Balclutha Borough (S.O. 13405).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 19541 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 8th day of June 1964.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 10·5 perches situated in
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, Borough of New-
market, North Auckland R.D., and being part of Lot 115 of
Allotment 4, Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland. All certificate
of title, Volume 587, folio 238, North Auckland Land
Registry (limited as to parcels).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 10th day of June 1964.

Entirety of Land Taken for Street in the City of Whangarei

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the entirety of
land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street
and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the
City of Whangarei, as from the date hereinafter mentioned;
and that, notwithstanding section 19 of the Public Works Act
1928, no part of the said land shall be deemed to be excepted
out of this Proclamation, and I also declare that this Procla-
mation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of June 1964.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 8·9 perches situated in
Block XII, Purua Survey District, City of Whangarei, North
Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 11666; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 18576 (S.O. 44378) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 17th day of June 1964.

Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton
Motorway.
