NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and Booth and Co. (England) Ltd. (registered as an overseas company), pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that Booth and Co. (England) Ltd., duly incorporated in England and having its registered office in London intends to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration of three months from the first date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1964, £550,000
Notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board held at the Board’s offices, Te Aroha, on the 2nd day of June 1964, the following resolution was passed:
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of principal, interest, and other charges on the Reticulation Loan 1964, £550,000, authorised to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Thames Valley Electric Power District and extending and improving the supply within that district, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-seventeenths (²⁄₁₇) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Thames Valley Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Inglewood County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Inglewood County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two five five four pence (0·2554d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Inglewood; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Inglewood County Council held on the 12th day of May 1964.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Flats Loan No. 3, 1964, £35,200
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,200 authorised to be raised by the Local Authorities Loans Board under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of pensioner flats, the said Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three five five pence (0·355d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council held on the 26th day of May 1964.

SOUTHLAND HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 1, 1963
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Southland Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £261,200 authorised to be raised by the Southland Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of loan No. 14, 1952, £3,536,000, which matured on 18 and 28 November 1963 by conversion thereof and by cash application, the said Southland Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·0286 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Southland Harbour District, as constituted by the Bluff Harbour Empowering Act 1949, being part of the rate authorised by section 8 of the Bluff Harbour Improvement Act 1952; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 18th day of May and the 18th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 31 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Southland Harbour Board held on the 26th day of May 1964.
