Interpreters' Licences Issued Under the Maori Affairs Act 1953

Pursuant to section 71 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and regulations made thereunder, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to authorise

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Declaration Affecting Farming Businesses for Income Tax Purposes in Relation to a Flood

Pursuant to section 103A of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Minister of Finance hereby declares the flood in the under-mentioned localities during March 1964 to be an event, happening, or cause (within the meaning of those words as used in subsection (5) of the said section) adversely affecting farms or livestock generally in those localities.

The following parts of the Whakatane County:

  1. Rangitaiki Upper Survey District: Survey blocks 4 and 8.
  2. Whakatane Survey District: Survey blocks 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, and 13.
  3. Waimana Survey District: Survey blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Waitemata County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for scenic purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, in trust, for recreation purposes.
