PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

The Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1964

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 25th day of May 1964
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1964.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1964. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Papatoetoe High School, prescribed by the Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1960,* is hereby varied so that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Papatoetoe High School.
(c) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending Aorere College;
(d) One member appointed by the Papatoetoe Borough Council;
(e) One member appointed by the Manukau County Council;
(f) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when it thinks fit. - The Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1960 is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a landing place for the common use and benefit of the beneficial owners.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road and hereby stops the said piece of road.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 7 perches situated in Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., passing through Section 22, Pawaho Hamlet; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18439 (S.O. 10174) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become County road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that part of Chewings, Road in the County of Wallace situated in Blocks III, IV, VI, and VII, Centre Hill Survey District, commencing at the northern end of the part declared County road in Gazette, 1959, page 1230, and proceeding thence in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of 4 miles 37 chains approximately to its termination on the south-east boundary of Run 188B, Block VII; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18476 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
