Declaring Lands in Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts
Vested in the Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay Education Boards
as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the
Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board, and the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
PART Lot G, D.P. 4295, being part Sections 45A and 46, Fitzroy District; also part Sections 23, 59, 60, and 836 (D.P. 3266), and part Lot 1, D.P. 6025, being part Section 60, all of Grey District: Area, 5 acres 3 roods 3·3 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 150, folio 161 (subject to drainage and incidental rights over part Section 836 (D.P. 3266), Grey District, created by transfer No. 46280). As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/552A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 9569).

SECOND SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
LOT 1, D.P. 6873, being part Pakuratahi 1H Block, situated in Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District: Area, 1 acre, more or less. All certificate of title, H.B. Volume 105, folio 223 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).
Also part of Block 218, Ruataniwha Crown Grant District, and Lot 2, D.P. 7605, being part of Block 24, Makaretu Crown Grant District, situated in Block IX, Ruataniwha Survey District. All certificates of title, H.B. Volume 83, folio 177, and H.B. Volume 122, folio 197 (Hawke’s Bay Land Registry): Area, 3 acres 3 roods 37·2 perches, more or less.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of May 1964.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 39·4 perches situated in Block IV, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 2, D.P. 17330; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18467 (S.O. 43993) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of May 1964.
