Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Dannevirke
(Notice No. Ag. 7968)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Dannevirke County Council on the 9th day of March 1964, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Dannevirke County Council hereby declares that barberry and hawthorn are noxious weeds within the County of Dannevirke.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Manunui Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 26 January 1938, published in the Gazette, 27 January 1938, Volume I, page 119, and registered as No. K. 24554.

(Notice No. Ag. 7965)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Opotiki County Council on the 9th day of March 1964, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT the Opotiki County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the following plant, being a plant mentioned in the First Schedule to the said Act, is a noxious weed within the County of Opotiki:
St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum)
