Declaring Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for an Automatic
Telephone Exchange in Block XI, Opuha Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Mark Thyne Hutt and John George Hutt, of Sherwood Downs, farmers, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 472, folio 35, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange from and after the 18th day of May 1964.

Declaring an Easement Over Land Taken for Defence Purposes in Block XIV, Cloudy Bay Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and maintain a line of pipes under, along, and across the said land, and to use the said line of pipes for the unim- peded conveyance of sewage, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the Schedule of the Proclamation dated the 4th day of August 1939, published in Gazette, 10 August 1939, Vol. II, at page 2128, and registered as No. 496, Marlborough Land Registry, from and after the 18th day of May 1964.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Whangarei County District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Whangarei County Council in the interests of the Wha- ngarei County District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the lst day of May 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of May 1965.
