Notice Prescribing Fees for Registration Plates and Licence Labels

Pursuant to regulation 12 of the Motor Vehicles Registration and Licensing Regulations 1949,* the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the warrant† dated the 29th day of May 1963 prescribing the fees for registration plates and hereby prescribes that, in respect of the licensing year commencing on the 1st day of July 1964, and any licensing year thereafter, to cover the cost and issue of registration plates and licence labels to be issued under the said regulations, there shall be payable in respect thereof the following fees:

Registration plates for—
Private motor cars (other than caravans) .... .... .... 10s. per set of two plates
Rental cars, taxicabs .... .... .... 10s. per set of two plates
Motor cycles, power cycles .... 4s. per plate
Dealers in motor cycles and power cycles .... .... .... 4s. per plate
Dealers in motor vehicles (other than motor cycles and power cycles) 7s. per set of two plates
Trailers .... .... .... 1s. 9d. per plate
Motor vehicles not otherwise specified 3s. 6d. per set of two plates

Declaration That Part of the Kaitaia Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Kaitaia Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

PART Lot 44, D.P. 14963, being part Old Land Claim 242. Part certificate of title, Volume 341, folio 35.

Also part Allotments 69 and 84, Ahipara Parish.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Papatoetoe Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes.

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for scenic purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Kirk’s Bush Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Kirk’s Bush Scenic Board.
