FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water in Lake Tekapo situated in Block XIII, Tekapo Survey District, bounded by lines commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the l-chain lake-edge reserve, such point being on a bearing of 281° 10' and 2450 links distant from a mark on the concrete surface of the New Zealand Electricity Department tunnel-intake structure, such mark being the intersection of the centre line of the bridge to the intake and the southern edge of the intake structure; thence north-westerly along the boundary of the said 1-chain lake reserve bearing 313°06' and distance 1100 links; thence north-easterly along a line bearing 29° 10', distance 1400 links; then north-easterly along a line bearing 74° 15', distance 2600 links; thence south-easterly along a line bearing 148° 30', distance 1250 links; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 210° 30', distance 1500 links; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 262°, distance 2300 links, to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE

The principal limiting lines of the area, being those of bearing 29° 10', distance 1400 links, and being 262°, distance 2300 links, shall be controlled by marker posts. In the case of the former, the southern end shall be marked by two posts, one near the water's edge and the other about 1 chain back and on rising ground. The northern alignment shall be marked also by two posts placed similarly on the hillside above the skating rink so as to be clearly visible from the lake waters along the line. In the case of the latter line, the western end shall be marked by two posts as above and the alignment eastwards by the northern extremity of the plantation near the shore line of the eastern side of Lake Tekapo. Posts shall be painted white and surmounted with triangular signs painted red in order that a line up of each pair of signs will be a clear indication of the principal boundaries of the area in question.

The area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be shown cross hatched on a plan of the lake on a scale of not less than 5 chains to 1 in., which shall be displayed on the lower portion of a notice board measuring not less than 2ft 6in. by 2ft, painted white with black lettering, which notice board shall be erected at the place where boats are normally launched.

The upper portion of the aforesaid notice board shall contain the following notice:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
There is no speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers using the area shown cross-hatched on the plan below."

Land in the Canterbury Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

PARTS Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8, D.P. No. 6615, being Rural Section 1036 and parts Rural Sections 969 and 1022, situated in Block VI, Rangiora Survey District, Rangiora County: Area, 66 acres 1 rood 29·2 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 144/6 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Putauaki Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a Proclamation dated 19 June 1941, published in the Gazette, 26 June 1941, Volume II, page 2017, and registered as No. K. 26959.

Notice to Make Returns of Land Under the Land and Income Tax Act 1954
PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:

A return of land held as at noon on 31 March 1964 is required from every person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, where total unimproved value exceeds £6,000.

Returns are required to be delivered or forwarded to the district office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, where the taxpayer's records are filed, not later than 7 May 1964.

Return forms are available at all district offices of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, and at all post offices.

Any person or company failing to furnish a return within the prescribed time is liable to a fine not exceeding £100 or not less than £2.
