Roads Excluded From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed Zone Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. That the Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 14th day of July 1954,* the 5th day of October 1954†, the 28th day of March 1956‡, the 15th day of November 1960§, and the Warrant under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956|| dated the 21st day of May 1959¶, which relate to roads formerly in Tauranga County now in Tauranga City, are hereby revoked.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956#.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga City:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from the western boundary of Tauranga City to a point 16 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary).
Cameron Road (from the southern boundary of Tauranga City to a point 16 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
Oropi Road (from a point 2 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Chadwick Road to the southern boundary of Tauranga City).
Welcome Bay Road.

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice:

Section 8 and Subdivision 2 of Section 9, Block I, Pahi Survey District: Area, 516 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less (S.O. Plans 5335 and 6833). Save and excepting unto Her Majesty the Queen all beds or seams of coal and all other minerals and metals and reserving always to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals, a right of ingress, egress, and regress in the said lands.
