Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and South Auckland Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALLOTMENT 54, Town of Mangonui, situated in Block V, Mangonui Survey District: Area, 3 roods 28 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 509, folio 197 (limited as to parcels and title).

SECOND SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 10003 AK, being part Allotment 139, Waioeka Parish, situated in Block VIII, Opotiki Survey District: Area 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 70, folio 221.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
SECTION 89, Block VII, Opoe Survey District, Mangonui County: Area, 54 acres 1 rood 21·2 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 2/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red (S.O. Plan 44259).

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
Revoking Part of a Proclamation Declaring Opunake Lake in the Taranaki Acclimatisation District as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1956, and published in Gazette, 10 January 1957, No. 1, page 8, proclaiming and declaring land in the Taranaki Acclimatisation District to be a wildlife refuge for the purpose of the said Wildlife Act 1953 in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
