Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the
persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being
testing officers under the said regulations for the authority
specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives notice as follows:
-
That so much of the Warrant under section 36 of the
Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regula-
tions 1956* dated the 22nd day of January 1963† as relates
to Hukanui Road in Hamilton City is hereby revoked. -
The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section
52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hamilton City:
Hukanui Road (from the northern boundary of Hamilton
City to a point 4 chains measured north-westerly generally
along the said road from Clarkin Road).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hamilton City:
Hukanui Road (from a point 14 chains measured north-
westerly generally along the said road from Comries Road
to a point 4 chains measured north-westerly generally along
Hukanui Road from Clarkin Road).

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940,* the
Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the
provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations
so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors
shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but
in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940* to the persons described in column 1 of
the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy
trade motor in the course of their employment for the
employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but
shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of
18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
