Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of March 1964.

Licensing the Mount Wellington Borough Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Panmure as a Site for a Launching Ramp

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Mount Wellington Borough Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Panmure, Tamaki River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11723 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining thereon a launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from 1 February 1964.

(3) The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be 1s. payable on demand.

Licensing Thomas William Halkett to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Wanganui River at Putiki as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Thomas William Halkett (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Wanganui River at Putiki, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11668 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 and the annual sum so payable £10.

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1964.

Amending Licence to Eric Samuel David Burke and Others to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Hina Hina as a Site for a Boatshed and Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 23 October 1963, published in the Gazette, 31 October 1963, No. 71, page 1726, licensing Eric Samuel David Burke, Bruce Henry Jaggar, Bruce Dunbar Grant, Leo Russell Burrow, Keith William George Vial, Lloyd Arthur Hook, Curtis Philip Capon, and Roger Frederick James to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Hina Hina as a site for a boatshed and slipway by omitting the expression “£8” in clause 2 of the Schedule and substituting the expression “£3”.
