Special Conditions
- In the Southland Acclimatisation District not more than
four persons shall at any one time hunt or kill or attempt to
hunt or kill game over the same set of decoys.

(22) Boyle's C.G.A. Sections 18 and 25-27 and Lots 1 and
2, D.P. 1383, being Sections 19-24, Block III, Town of East
Winton.
(23) All that area north of the boundary starting at a
point west of the Whitestone Main Road bridge on the Te
Anau-Lumsden Main Highway; thence in a northerly
direction up the east side of Whitestone River to a sign on
river bank; thence easterly across the Whitestone to the
boundary fence, then north-east along said fence on east side
of Whitestone right up to the top cultivation on Mararoa
Station under Mount Prospect; thence south from Mount
Prospect to Lake Thomas passing on east side of Lake
Thomas and continuing along road to Mararoa Station;
then north-east up east side of Mararoa River to Chimney
Huts then follows old coach road from Chimney Huts to
Oreti; thence south along east side of Oreti to old accommodation house near Centre Hill (now known as So Big)
then in a straight line to Athol.
(24) All that part of the Southland Acclimatisation Society
district north of the Monowai River and west of the Waiau
River.

Special Conditions
- A licence issued pursuant to this notification to hunt or kill game shall entitle the holder thereof to hunt or kill waterfowl, being grey, shoveler (or spoonbill), mallard, or paradise duck, black swan, or pukeko or Canada goose, on the flood bed of that part of the Waitaki River between the Kurow Dam and the sea which is within the Waitaki Acclimatisation District during the period and subject, mutatis mutandis, to the conditions prescribed in the notification fixing an open season for those species in that district.
- No person shall for the purposes of hunting or killing game build, or attempt to build, or claim, any stand, hide, shelter, maimai, mud hole, loo, louvre, or position before 9 a.m. on 4 April 1964.
- A licence issued subject to this notification shall entitle the holder thereof to hunt or kill game on that portion of the flood bed of the Pareora River which lies within the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District during the period and subject, mutatis mutandis, to the conditions prescribed in the notification fixing the open season for that district.
