Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Rotorua County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua, in trust, for that purpose.

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Porirua, in trust, for that purpose.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Wairarapa Catchment Board and Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Wairarapa Catchment Board and revokes the reservation for river protection purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Ashburton County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for internal communication purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Parts of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby authorises the exchange of those parts of the reserve for public purposes described in the First Schedule hereto for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto. This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 8 July 1963 and published in Gazette, 11 July 1963, Volume II, page 949, and that notice is hereby revoked.

Authorising James Brittenden and Joan Brittenden to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Mangonui Harbour at Mill Bay, as a Site for a Pipeline

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits James Brittenden and Joan Brittenden (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Mangonui Harbour at Mill Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11667 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a pipeline, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1963.

3. The premium payable by the licensees shall be £2 and the annual sum so payable £1 10s.

Authorising Henry James Radford to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Lake Taupo at Rainbow Point as a Site for a Pipeline

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Henry James Radford (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Taupo at Rainbow Point, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11666 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a pipeline, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

2. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1963, but it may be revoked by the Minister in the event of a water supply being reticulated to the Rainbow Point area.
