All that area in the County of Wanganui bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 13500 in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, and proceeding easterly generally to and along the boundary of that portion of the City of Wanganui secondly hereinbefore described, to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12932; thence southerly along the western end of Burts Lane to and generally easterly along the western and southern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 12932, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Manawakoara No. 1A 2B 2B, the generally western boundary of Manawakoara No. 1D, the south-western boundary of Pariatumanga No. 1A, along a right line across Waitahanui Road to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Pariatumanga No. 1B to the north-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 5898; thence south-westerly, easterly, and northerly along the north-western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 1, D.P. 5898, to the north-western corner of Lot 2, D.P. B/119; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of that lot, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 17679, Lot 1, D.P. A/951, Lot 1, D.P. 5694, and Lot 1, D.P. A/2489, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that lot and along a right line to the north-western corner of Section 138, Left Bank, Wanganui River; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that section to the western side of Union Line; thence southerly along that side to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 2713; thence easterly across Union Line to and along that boundary and easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 2713, to the north-eastern corner of that lot; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2729, and its production to the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10515; thence south-easterly generally along the generally western and southern boundaries of that lot and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Warrengate Line; thence south-westerly along the middle of that line to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 2835; thence easterly to and along that boundary and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 2, part Section 248, Left Bank, Wanganui River, as shown on S.O. 21913, part Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 2835, to the western boundary of the Foxton-New Plymouth Railway, along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 2835, and its production to the middle of the Whangaehu River; thence south-westerly, north-westerly, and easterly generally along the boundary of the County of Wanganui hereinbefore described to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom that portion of the City of Wanganui thirdly hereinbefore described.

Notice of Final Decision of New Zealand Geographic Board re Assigning of Place Names

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice was given on the 15th day of August 1963 of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the names set out in the Schedule attached to the said notice: and whereas, pursuant to section 13 of the said Act, no objections have been received to such of the proposed names as are set out in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, pursuant to sections 14 and 15 of the said Act, notice is hereby given that the names set out in the Schedule hereto are final decisions of the Board and that such decisions will take effect on the 17th day of February 1964.
