Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution Pursuant to Section 269
NOTICE is hereby given that by means of an entry in the company's minute book, signed by all the shareholders, on the 31st day of October 1963, the following special resolutions were passed:
“1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“2. That Mr George Stanley Kirby, public accountant, of Dunedin, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.
“3. That the remuneration of the liquidator shall be in accordance with the scale fee of the New Zealand Society of Accountants.

I hereby give notice that by an order of the Supreme Court, Timaru, dated the 24th day of October 1963, I was appointed administrator of the estate of the above-named Archibald Twaddle, and I hereby call a meeting of creditors to be held at my office, Provincial Council Chambers, Armagh Street, Christchurch, on Monday, the 18th day of November 1963, at 10.30 a.m.
All claims against the above estate must be lodged with me on or before 24 December 1963.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION PLEDGING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1963, £15,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the General Works Loan 1950, Marewa Streets Loan 1951, and Streets Loan 1950, which mature on 1 December 1963, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought six two (0·062) of a penny (d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PENINSULA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Peninsula County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £146,000 authorised to be raised by the Peninsula County Council under the above-mentioned Act for installing a water supply and sanitary drainage scheme, the said Peninsula County Council hereby makes a special rate of (12½d.) twelve and one-half pence in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Macandrew Bay and Company Bay special rating area comprising the defined portion of the Macandrew Bay and Company Bay townships in the North East Harbour and Broad Bay Ridings as described in the special order and the electoral roll recently used for a poll on this water and drainage proposal; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the first day of the sixth month and the first day of the twelfth month in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Petone Overbridge Redemption Loan 1963
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for the repayment of the Council’s share of the cost of the Petone overbridge, the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point one two five pence (0·125d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Eastbourne; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 29th day of October 1963.

MOUNT HERBERT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand nine hundred pounds (£6,900) authorised to be raised by the Mount Herbert County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Council’s share of the costs of reconstructing part of the Teddington-Purau Road which loan is known as the Teddington-Purau Road Reconstruction Loan 1963, the said Mount Herbert County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·085d. in the pound upon the rateable property in the Mount Herbert County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAUPO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight thousand pounds (£8,000) authorised to be raised by the Taupo County Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of erecting, furnishing, and equipping a public hall in the Whakamaru District in the Pouakani Riding of Taupo County, the said Taupo County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one six of a penny (0·16d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the Whakamaru Hall special rating area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo County Council at a meeting of the Council held on the 16th day of October 1963.
