Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Tikorangi Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to
the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act
1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice
dated 14 February 1941, published in the Gazette 20 February
1941, Volume I, page 335, and registered as No. W. 5370.

National Roads Board—Notice Concerning the Stopping
of Vehicles
It is hereby notified that, pursuant to the National Roads
Board Bylaw 1958, No. l,* the Board has, by resolution
carried at its meeting on 18 September 1963, prohibited the
stopping of vehicles on that portion of the State highway
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
On both sides of No. 2 State Highway in the Borough of
Waipawa commencing at the northern end of the junction
with Ruataniwha Street and extending in a southerly direction
to the northern abutment of the Waipawa River Bridge.

The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New
Zealand Standard Model Building Bylaw (N.Z.S.S. 95)
Part V:1955: Reinforced and Plain Concrete Construction
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards
Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amend-
ment is being circulated under the reference No. D 7592.
All persons who may be affected by this amendment and
who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain
copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards
Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private
Bag, Wellington C. 1.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 20 December
1963.

Omarana Rabbit Board—Raising of Loan
Pursuant to section 63 (4) of the Rabbits Act 1955, I,
Bernard Noel Thomas, Chairman of the Omarana Rabbit
Board, hereby certify as follows:
(1) That a formal poll of the ratepayers of the Omarana
Rabbit District on the proposal of the Omarana Rabbit
Board to raise a loan of £4,500 to be known as the Housing
Loan 1963 for the purpose of erecting a worker’s dwelling
has been dispensed with at the request of such ratepayers;
(2) That the total number of ratepayers signing the request
amounted to 10, the total number of votes possessed by them
amounted to 28, the total number of ratepayers liable to be
rated for the proposed loan amounted to 18, and the total
number of votes possessed by the ratepayers liable to be
rated amounted to 44;
(3) That the proposal to raise the loan was carried.
